Port Royal Public School

Port Royal, a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school, opened in 1992. The school is named after Samuel de Champlain's Port Royal Habitation (1605). Today, Port Royal is a Parks Canada National Historic Site in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.

With an enrolment of approximately 450 students, Port Royal has over 30 staff.  Port Royal is home of "The Panthers."  We have earned many sports championships over the years.
Our community partner, the YMCA Childcare, shares space in our school building and provides childcare services for our neighbourhood. The Settlement Worker provides support to our newcomer families.  We also have other community Partnerships though Malvern Community Centre.
